入世十几年以来,中国的社会消费品零售总额由2001年的43055亿元,增长到2012年的207167亿元,年均增长15.4%。“十二五”期间,国家把扩大消费需求作为扩大内需的战略重点。“十二五”战略规划的实施为我国零售业的发展提供了难得发展机遇期。从国际趋势来看,发展中国家发挥着全球经济增长引擎作用,中国国民的消费能力提升和消费理念的改变,必将促进中国零售行业的发展。未来的中国零售业也将会是一个发展高峰时期。全球前三大服装连锁商西班牙的ZARA、美国的GAP、瑞典的Hennes&Mauritz(简称“H&M”)齐聚中国,此举表明零售环节对服装品牌成长的重要性。GAP中国总裁杨得铭说,在中国,还没有哪一家连锁服装销售商占据很大的市场份额,发展空间依然很大。
Since its accession to the WTO, the total retail sales of social consumer goods in China increased from 4,305.5 billion yuan in 2001 to 2,071.67 billion yuan in 2012, an average annual increase of 15.4%. During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the state took the expansion of consumer demand as a strategic focus of expanding domestic demand. “Twelve-Five ” strategic planning for the development of China’s retail industry provides a rare opportunity for development. Judging from the international trends, developing countries play a role of a global engine of economic growth. The improvement of their spending power and the change in consumer attitudes will surely promote the development of China’s retail industry. The future of China’s retail industry will also be a peak period of development. The world’s top three apparel chain Spain ZARA, the United States GAP, Sweden’s Hennes & Mauritz (“H & M ”) gathered in China, the move shows the importance of the retail segment of the apparel brand growth. Yang Deming, president of GAP China, said that in China, there is no single chain clothing retailer which occupies a large market share and the space for development is still huge.
