小学《语文新课程标准》指出:语文是最重要的交际工具,是人类文化的重要组成部分。语文课程应致力于学生语文素养的形成与发展,应培育学生热爱祖国语文的思想感情。国学经典是中华传统文化的精华,内容博大精深,蕴涵着丰富的人文精神。而且,中国文字原本就蕴含着艺术美,而中国的国学经典文化更浓缩了我们母语的精华,以其特有的节奏感、韵律感、美观性等特质,从古到今始终散发着迷人而高贵的气质,所以,在小学语文教学中引入国学经典教育具有十分重要的作用。
