Jiangsu seaport construction in the ascendant, Ganyu Hong Kong and Dafeng port development speed is particularly prominent. Six stations and eight sediment stations in Ganyugang and Dafeng Port were selected respectively to investigate the spatial distribution and source composition of the main sources of pollution by geo-statistical analysis. The status of heavy metal pollution was also evaluated. The results showed that the contents of Cd, As, Cu, Pb, Cr and Zn in the surface sediments of Ganyugan were 0.049 3 ~ 0.098 7, 7.3 ~ 17.8, 19.9 ~ 41.2, 13.2 ~ 19.2, 27.5 ~ 54.2, 43.8 ~ 81.2 mg / kg. The spatial distribution showed that the total amount of Zn in the sediments was slightly higher than that in the offshore areas, and the contents of heavy metals in the sediments were affected by terrestrial sources. The contents of Zn and Cu in the sediments were the same or similar, but the sources of As were different from other heavy metals The contents of Cd, As, Cu, Pb, Cr and Zn in the surface sediments of Dafeng Harbor were 0.037 8 ~ 0.229 0,5.7 ~ 19.0,3.2 ~ 27.5,10.0 ~ 23.1,62.0 ~ 87.0,32.0 ~ 85.9mg / kg, significant regional variations in heavy metal space, with the exception of Cr outside the same or similar sources of heavy metals. Pollution evaluation shows that the overall pollution levels of Ganyu and Dafeng ports are generally light. The investigation and evaluation of marine sediments in the initial stage of the port construction not only reflect the initial sedimentary environment conditions in this area, but also provide reference for the evaluation of sedimentary environment impact and also provide constraints for the choice of port size and industry.
