Scientists often refer to the biological community imprisoned in amber as a wrapper or inclusion body. These wraps are flies, scorpions, mosquitoes, bryophytes, and other plant debris, which were in the early Pleistocene millions of years ago. They live in the forests of northwestern Russia to Scandinavia. One of the largest and valuable rare treasures was collected at the University of Hamburg, Germany.
