大冶铁矿床位于淮阳山字型构造的前弧西翼与新华夏系构造体系第二隆起带与沉降带的联合部位,位于长江中、下游铁、铜、金多金属成带的西段(林新多等,1983)。矿体产于铁山岩体南缘闪长岩与下三叠统大冶群大理岩、白云质大理岩接触断裂复合部位,主要由Ⅰ~Ⅵ号六个矿体组成。本文从接触带与矿体关系、成岩深度与剥蚀程度、深部物探信息及目前勘探程度方面对该矿深部
