自1999年12月成立以来,清华大学美术学院雕塑系因其历史沿革的特殊性,较之其他美术学院更具有自己鲜明的个性特征。一方面继承了原中央工艺美院在工艺美术与装饰教学方面的优秀传统,另一方面又因中央美术学院、中国美术学院、鲁迅美术学院等著名教授的加盟,大大增强了教学上的实力与水准。本着“依托传统、立足当代、关注未来”的办学理念,以“厚基础、宽口径、研究型”为目标,明确学科发展方向和特色,
Since its establishment in December 1999, the Department of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University has its own distinct personality characteristics compared with other art colleges because of the particularity of its history. On the one hand inherited the original Central Academy of Fine Arts in arts and crafts and decorative teaching excellent tradition, on the other hand because of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and other famous professors to join, greatly enhance the teaching strength and level. Based on the concept of running a school based on “relying on tradition, basing ourselves on the contemporary era and paying attention to the future”, with the goal of “thick foundation, wide caliber, and research-oriented”, we should clearly define the direction and characteristics of the discipline development,
