对迟子建的尊敬来自10年前阅读她那部《向着白夜旅行》时的体验。作为一名东北人,确切地说是黑龙江人,那是我第一次透过文字感受到了这片土地的厚重和风情。后来又陆续读到迟子建的其他作品,我开始怀疑自己是否有足够的理由公开我的地域属性。跟同样是黑龙江人的迟子建相比,我对黑龙江的陌生竟然犹如擦肩而过的路人。2006年10月,大兴安岭被纳入我的旅行计划。深入大兴安岭由伊图里河开始,之后,我在莫尔道嘎见识了激流河的纯净;在室韦与额尔古纳河相对无语并住在了鄂温克妇女都日娜的家中,那是名副其实的额尔古纳河右岸;
