一、精神病学研究。包括这次讨论会所讨论的流行学研究。最终的目的是改善对精神病人的治疗、保健及预防个人、家庭和社团精神病的发生。我们的一切知识,关于精神病的病因、病理机制、症状、预后以及其在人群中的频率和分布等等知识,是否可靠和有用,最重要的测验在于把这些知识应用于制订精神卫生服务规划,用于筹措对病人的照顾,并对之进行评价。
I. Psychiatric research. Including the epidemiological studies discussed in this seminar. The ultimate goal is to improve the treatment of mental patients, health care and the prevention of mental illness in individuals, families and organizations. All of our knowledge, the knowledge of the etiology, pathology, symptoms, prognosis of the mental illness, and its frequency and distribution in the population is reliable and useful. The most important test is to apply this knowledge to the development of mental health service planning. It is used to raise the patient’s care and evaluate it.
