《实用科技英语语法》(浙大编),《英语语法表解》(吕菊林等编),以及英人埃克斯利父子所著《综合英语语法》(汉译本)等书,都是近10多年来出版的较全面且有一定影响的语法专著,其成就是不容忽视的。但随着语言科学研究的不断发展,其中也不免存在一些从目前眼光看来欠妥的句例。今为对半助动词问题进行一些探讨,摘引几句十此,并加以简略分析,从而提出判别的方法,以就教于诸专家学者。
The Practical English Grammar (Zheda University), the English Grammar Explanation (by Lu Julin et al.), and the Englishman Eckerli and his son’s book “Comprehensive English Grammar” (Chinese translation) have been written for more than 10 years. The more comprehensive and influential grammar monographs published, their achievements cannot be ignored. However, with the continuous development of linguistic research, it is also possible that there are some examples that are inadequate from the current point of view. This is a discussion of semi-auxiliary verbs, a few sentences, and a brief analysis of them, so as to propose methods of discrimination so that they can be taught to experts and scholars.
