在目前阶段,必须准确认识中国经济发展已进入工业化腾飞阶段这一时代大背景,都不可忽视这一客观背景,都必须确切地把握这一阶段经济增长的特殊性。并应明确,经济增长需要推动力,也需要拉动力。推动力是供给,拉动力是消费。二者都表现出对市场的需求。现在,中国的消费水平还有很大的提升空间。而提升消费水平,相应需要调整消费结构。当前,中国消费结构的调整主要应体现在两个基本方面:首先,可以适当提高属于生活必需品的某些高档消费品的购买力。其次,大力提高中国人在文化、教育、娱乐等领域的非必需消费。

Secondly, it is necessary to vigorously raise the non-essential consumption of Chinese in the fields of culture, education and entertainment.
