Our delegation visited more than 10 schools in several cities in 12 days. We are impressed with picturesque Zhejiang and Beijing with a modern cityscape. We were warmly received and felt the friendship, kindness and generousness of Chinese friends. The members of our delegation come from all schools that cooperate with the Confucius Institute at Valparaiso University and this visit laid a solid foundation for future cooperation in the northwestern Indiana. The institutions we visit include junior high schools, high schools and universities. China’s schools are striving to move toward the world and expand their contacts, cooperation and learning with the rest of the world. This impresses us particularly deeply.
