传统的发动机水管加工方法是采用车床加工,产品精度低,表面质量差,并且生产效率低下。圆柱管在轴向载荷的作用下能发生对称的局部屈曲变形。利用这一原理,通过模具对钢管进行冷加工成形为所需的喇叭状管口。但是钢管脱模后,在残余应力的作用下会发生弹性恢复,使得所需的尺寸发生变化影响成形精度。另一方面,成形过程中作用在模具上的摩擦力影响模具寿命,需给模具选择合适的公差。基于以上两种因素,得到了合适的上模深度p=3.60 mm,并给模具尺寸确定了合适的上下偏差。据此加工模具并利用该模具成形出了所需形状和精度的钢管。
