药物不良反应（ADR）是现代药物治疗中常见的棘手的并发症，往往被误认为是变应反应。虽然ADR的机理是多方面的，但由免疫系统介导的占很大比例的严重和致命的不良反应。免疫系统将药物分子或药物载体半抗原识别为异物，随之相互作用而产生意外的后果，本文论述了ADR与免疫系统的关系。
Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are common and complicated complications of modern medical therapy and are often mistaken for allergic reactions. Although the mechanism of ADR is multifaceted, the immune system accounts for a large proportion of serious and fatal adverse reactions. The immune system recognizes foreign molecules as drug molecules or drug carrier haptens, with consequent interactions that have unintended consequences. This article discusses the relationship between ADR and the immune system.
