发生于2008年5月12日下午2:28分的汶川大地震造成了重大伤亡,这场地震的震级、烈度、波及范围以及受灾情况,为中国数十年来所罕见,汶川大地震是中国自1976年以来最重大的自然灾害。灾害发生后,全国人民心系灾区,举国同心,迅速投入到灾害救助和灾区的恢复重建之中。作为一本专业学术期刊,此次大地震也让我们意识到,普及地震知识,从而最大限度减轻地震灾害对人类生命财产的威胁,是我们的责任和义务。本刊因此临时调整版面,编辑了此辑地震资料。 The Wenchuan Earthquake, which occurred on 2:12 pm on May 12, 2008, caused heavy casualties. The magnitude, intensity, reach and the extent of the earthquake were rare in China for decades. The Wenchuan Earthquake was China’s The most significant natural disaster since 1976. After the disaster, people all over the country hearted the disaster-stricken areas and extended nationwide support to rapidly bring disaster relief and reconstruction to the affected areas.
