Researchers at Oregon State University recently found that microcrystalline cellulose, which is extracted from plants, can be used as an ideal tire reinforcing agent. According to reports, this microcrystalline cellulose can be extracted from tree fibers, and even any type of plant fiber, belongs to a depolymerization product of pure natural cellulose. This new reinforcement not only improves tire performance but also helps reduce fuel consumption in cars. the study
