20世纪最具有创新的就是预应力技术的提出,桥梁预应力加固技术在桥梁维修加固中的应用,更具有为特殊重要的意义。桥梁维护、桥梁检查工作在近来预应力加固应用是非常广泛的,采用高强度的钢丝,钢绞线等对桥梁体进行预应力加固,用这种加固方式来防止桥梁出现体裂缝或推迟裂缝出现的时间,对带裂缝工作的构件也能防止裂缝的继续增加。采用预应力可以减少构件的自重,使构件具有自重较轻、安全可靠、操作简单、作用明显、造价低廉等有点,所以桥梁预应力加固技术在桥梁工程领域特别是在加固方面发挥着巨大作用。
