查继佐现存诗集共有六种,分别为国家图书馆藏抄本《敬修堂诗》、上海图书馆藏抄本《东山敬修堂诗稿》、海宁图书馆藏翠薇山房抄本《敬修堂诗》、海宁图书馆藏费寅抄本《东山敬修堂诗集》,以及台湾《丛书集成续编》收录的《粤游杂咏》和《钓业》。诸诗集中存在一些重复收录之诗,且互有异文。有些抄本存在讹误,如错字、脱衍、误收等。通过对现存各本的比勘校订,可望整理出较为完善的《查继佐诗文集》,以补当前查继佐诗文研究的文献之阙,为研究者提供可信资料基础,由此推动查继佐研究全面深入地展开。
