五家渠垦区自一九五五年种植大白菜以来,产量、质量都逐年提高。一九六○年后,播种面积不断扩大,管理粗放,加以病毒病及干旱为害,产量、质量都趋于下降。一九六三年生产的全部白菜,按商业部门的质量要求分级统计,一级的只占7.9%,二级占23.3%,三级占29.1%,合计商品率为58.17%。对丰产田的白菜也分别作了统计,其一、二、三级分别为17.6%、32.8%、21.6%,合计商品率为72%。
Since the planting of Chinese cabbage in Wujiaqu Reclamation Area in 1955, output and quality have been increasing year by year. After 1960, the sown area has been continuously expanded, the management has been extensive, the virus disease and drought have been harmed, and the output and quality have tended to decline. All the cabbages produced in 1963 were classified according to the quality requirements of the commercial departments. Only 7.9% were Grade I, 23.3% were Grade II, 29.1% were Grade III, and the total share of goods was 58.17%. Statistics were also made on Chinese cabbages with high yields. The first, second and third grades were 17.6%, 32.8% and 21.6% respectively, with a total of 72%.
