开普勒三个定律是关于行星运动的规律,由于库仑力与万有引力相似,因此对于点电荷的椭圆运动也遵循开普勒定律.下面以点电荷沿椭圆轨道的曲线运动为例进行分析.例题.真空中有一固定的正点电荷A,电荷量为Q,另一个电荷量为q,质量为m的负点电荷B在A的库仑引力作用下绕A做轨迹为椭圆的运动,A位于椭圆的一个焦点上.B与A的距离最大为a,最小为b,静电力常量用k表示,试求B运动的周期.
