Objective: To investigate the effect of HCV on interleukin-7 (IL-7) / interleukin-7 receptor (IL-7R) in HIV / HCV co-infected patients in China. Methods: Thirty patients with HIV infection, HIV / HCV co-infected patients and healthy controls were selected randomly from each group. Plasma IL-7 level, the expression of CD127 on CD4 + T cells and CD4 + T cell number, each group were compared. Results: There was no significant difference in the level of IL-7 (8.55 ± 3.15) pg / mL between HIV / HCV co-infection group and pg / mL of HIV infection group (8.63 ± 3.64 pg / mL) (53.82 ± 15.24)% and the number of CD4 + T cells (210.58 ± 112.95) / μL were significantly lower than those of HIV infected patients (61.25 ± 16.75%) and (301.65 ± 181.54) / μL <0.05). Conclusions: The combination of HCV infection may further impair the cellular immune function of HIV patients by affecting IL-7R.
