在日前中央纪委、监察部、国务院国资委、安监总局联合召开的新闻发布会上,国家安全生产监督管理局局长李毅中指出,腐败是煤矿事故多发的深层次原因之一。事实的确如此。以最近发生的一起遇难百人以上的煤矿事故为例,广东梅州兴宁市大兴煤矿根本不具备安全生产基本条件,却连续开采数年,背后牵扯出一系列的腐败案件:广东省安全生产监督管理局副局长胡建昌受贿超过10万元,在事故发生前两个月,违规批准为该矿发放安全生产许可证;兴宁市煤炭工业局副局长曾锡良在大兴等煤矿入股分取红利51.4万元,涉嫌受贿30万元;兴宁市国土资源局主任科员李振权在大兴等煤矿入股分取红利87.9万元,涉嫌受贿27.8万
