红军长征是中国现代史上惊天动地的重大事件和“人类历史上的奇迹”。该文以长征红军在四川藏区的事迹为例,论述了共产党和红军在民族地区的民族团结工作,以及少数民族在人力、物力等多方面对长征红军的积极援助,说明红军长征的胜利,不但是共产党民族统战政策的成功,也是包括四川藏区各族民众在内的全国各族人民热情支援、共同奋斗的结果。
