近年来,东海的马面鲀鱼资源骤增,上升为我国东、黄海渔获物的第二位。但是这种鱼外形奇特,貌不惊人。怎样才能改变人们的偏见,还它营养学上的本来面目,以达到有效地利用马面鲀鱼资源呢?这里介绍一点日本的情况以供参考。日本的马面鲀鱼,学名Navodon mcode-stus(绿鳍马面鲀),在三崎、东京等地又称马面鱼。体长一般是1令20~22厘米,2令26~28厘米,3令32~34厘米。马面鲀鱼在日本沿海分布很广,北海道以南的沿岸各海域均有出现,尤以日本海一侧的富山湾、两津湾(佐渡岛)、山阴海域(鸟取、岛根、山口、兵库县及京都府的沿海)、新泻县沿海、对马海峡以及太平洋一侧的相模湾等为主要栖息
