Was born in the Arab Islamic Sufi, originally not only refers to ideas, but also refers to the level of behavioral practices. After the introduction of the Soviet Union and the West into the modern world, there emerged a trend of neglecting practice and focusing on thinking. “ism ” is a Sufi suffix that Westerners added after it was introduced to the West. It is endowed with typical western connotations and becomes a kind of “” “thought ”. In contrast to the trend of the integration of the Sufi and Orthodox Islam in the modern Arab-Islamic world, the Western “contextualized” Sufism highlights the “non-Islamic” character of the Islamic Sufism to accommodate Western modern culture needs. It represents the return of Western modern intellectuals to a “possible world” that is different from Western modernity, science and reason and represents pre-modernity, non-sciences and irrationality.
