在机械制造中,用来制造承受各种复合应力的零件,如轴类、连杆、螺栓、齿轮等,往往采用调质用的优质碳素钢,进行调质(淬火和高温回火)综合热处理,以便得到适当的高强度和高韧性。例如,用量很大的45~#优质碳素钢,为了获得较好的综合机械性能,绝大部分均采用轧制或热锻——粗加工——调质——精加工工艺。其中,调质处理工艺一般为加温到820~840℃,保温90min,水冷、淬火后的回火温度为570~590℃,保温120min,空冷。据初步归算,重1kg的零件,调质需消耗1kwh电。
