李伯谦,我国著名考古学家,1961年毕业于北京大学历史系考古专业。1992年至2000年任北京大学考古学系主任兼北京大学赛克勒考古与艺术博物馆馆长。主要从事考古学理论与方法、青铜时代考古、古代青铜文化结构体系等方面的教学与研究。参加和主持过河南偃师二里头、安阳小屯殷墟、山西曲沃晋侯墓地等多处遗址的发掘。出版有《中国青铜器文化结构体系研究》等专著,发表论文30多篇。1996年起任“九五”国家科技攻关重大项目“夏商周断代工程”首席科学家、专家组副组长和“十五”国家科技攻关重大项目“中华文明探源工程预研究”主持人之一。
Li Boqian, a famous archaeologist in China, graduated from the Department of History and Archeology at Peking University in 1961. From 1992 to 2000, he was Director of Archeology Department of Peking University and Director of Sackler Archeology and Art Museum of Peking University. Mainly engaged in archeology theory and methods, bronze age archeology, ancient bronze culture structure system and other aspects of teaching and research. To participate in and presided over two sites in Yanshi, Henan Province, Anyang Xiaotun Yin Ruins, Shanxi Quwo Jinhou cemetery and many other sites to explore. Published “Chinese bronze culture structure system” and other monographs, published more than 30 papers. Since 1996, he has been the chief scientist and deputy leader of the “Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties Project” and the “Key National Science and Technology Research Project” in the “95” National Scientific and Technological Research Project Engineering Pre-research "one of the host.
