ZHAO Yan, a top accounting student at the Correspondence College of People’s University of China, Beijing Branch, was an employee of the Sino U.S. joint INTEL Computer company. In her spare time, she completed the curriculum for two subjects—economy and trade, and accounting. In addition, in her first secretarial speciality, she held three diplomas. This ambitious 25-year old woman had just left the INTEL Company, where she had worked four years. In her own words, she intended to start her own business.
