On February 15, 1995, as a historical watershed, it will be permanently included in the history of China’s population development. On this day, China’s population reached 1.2 billion (excluding Taiwan, Hong Kong, and fishing). 1.2 billion, which is equivalent to the total population of all developed countries in the world; if the Chinese stand hand in hand on the Earth’s equator, they can circle the earth for 50 revolutions. Now the world’s average population is 40 people per square kilometer, and every square kilometer in China is To live in 125 people; of the 220,000 new born people in the world, 58,000 are Chinese. China is now in a critical period of establishing a socialist market economy and accelerating modernization. The arrival of the “1.2 billion people’s day” once again shows us a “yellow card” of population issues.
