随着艺术品拍卖市场的迅猛发展,一股洗钱暗流悄然涌动。2012年,中国首次超过美国成为全球最大艺术品交易市场,其增长的主要动力来自拍卖,占据市场总额近70%。2013年,中国艺术品拍卖市场总成交额40.78亿美元,再次成为全球第一。伴随着艺术品拍卖市场的迅猛发展,各大拍卖会上天价频出的背后,却悄然涌动着一股洗钱暗流,艺术品拍卖行业面临着较大的洗钱威胁。
With the rapid development of the art auction market, an undercurrents of money laundering quietly surged. In 2012, for the first time, China surpassed the United States to become the world’s largest art market. The main driver of its growth came from the auction, which accounted for nearly 70% of the total market. In 2013, the total turnover of the Chinese art auction market reached 4.078 billion U.S. dollars, making it the No. 1 spot in the world again. With the rapid development of the art auction market, behind the frequent high prices at major auctions, there is a surging money flow and the art auction industry is facing a big threat of money laundering.
