新生血管性青光眼是继发性青光眼最严重的一种类型。新生血管性青光眼眼压升高的主要原因是随着纤维血管膜和新生血管在前房角的形成,导致了前房角的阻滞和眼内液流出的障碍。本病现有疗法效果不显,患眼常被摘除。有些作者为了减少视网膜血管、虹膜血管新生及恢复正常的眼压,采用了广泛视网膜光凝;另有一些作者,当视网膜和虹膜有新生血管时,采用了经巩膜的广泛视网膜冷冻疗法。前一种方法,当屈光间质混浊时无法进行。
Neovascular glaucoma is the most serious type of secondary glaucoma. The main reason for the increased intraocular pressure in neovascular glaucoma is the block of the anterior chamber angle and the disturbance of the flow of the intraocular fluid with the formation of the fibrovascular membrane and the neovascularization in the anterior chamber angle. The effect of the current therapy is not significant, suffering from eye often removed. Some authors have used extensive retinal photocoagulation to reduce retinal, iris angiogenesis and return to normal intraocular pressure. Others have used extensive scleral retinal cryotherapy when the retina and iris have neovascularization. The former method can not be performed when the refractive media is cloudy.
