《英美文学》是高校英语专业本科教学的一门重要课程,然而该课程在国内目前的英语专业教学中被逐渐边缘化。尤其在近年许多新建本科院校加入应用技术大学联盟、谋求“转型”之时,问题更显突出。本文探讨《英美文学》课程在应用技术大学开设的教学目的、教学方法与教学内容,并从应用技术大学的办学特色、生源特点,与《英美文学》课程的实践意义等方面,提出如何实现该课程同步“转型”的一些构思。
“Anglo-American literature” is an important course in undergraduate teaching of English majors in colleges and universities. However, this course is gradually marginalized in current English teaching in China. Especially in recent years, many newly-built universities join the University of Applied Technology and seek “transition” when the problem becomes even more conspicuous. This article explores the teaching purpose, teaching methods and contents of “Anglo-American Literature” course offered by the University of Applied Sciences and proposes how to implement the Anglo-American Literary course in terms of the features of running a school, the characteristics of students, and the practical significance of “Anglo-American literature” Curriculum synchronization “transition” some ideas.
