现为星海音乐学院小提琴副教授、硕士生导师。1989年以优异成绩毕业于上海音乐学院管弦系小提琴专业,1989年～1995年在广州星海音乐学院管弦系任教。教学效果显著。1995年到比利时皇家音乐学院(根特)留学,1997年小提琴演奏专业、室内乐演奏专业硕士研究生毕业,同年在比利时获得ROTARY国际室内乐比赛第一名。自1996年起一直受聘在欧洲最著名之一的室内乐团IFLAMMINGHI、比利时皇家爱乐乐团、科特莱克城交响乐团等乐团,演出涉足世界许多国家和地区并签约于世界著名的唱片公司TELARC、EMI、SOF等,录制了大量的唱片。以及经常参加各种重奏音乐会演出活动,得到当地社会的肯定和赞誉。2003年11月回国工作,再次在广州星海音乐学院管弦系和研究生部任教。组织、主持了多次国内外同行专家来学院进行学术交流和讲学。在国内外举行了众多的独奏和重奏音乐会演出,获得赞扬、好评。并指导、组织、举办了大量的学生音乐会。所教学生在国内外比赛中多次获奖。出版过《实用小提琴教程》、《史拉迪克小提琴左手技能练习》、《中国音调小提琴练习曲42首》、《小提琴演奏分级精选曲集》(上、下册)等书籍和发表了10多篇学术论文。从事科研课题的研究,组织了众多的中外音乐家同行,主持了《小提琴技术训练的中国化研究》课题的研究,成功地取得了省级重点科研立项(广东省教育科学“十一五”规划研究项目),实现了表演专业科研方面的突破。
