Objective: To investigate the relationship between the number of curettage and the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage and bleeding. Methods: 2025 cases with normal prenatal and full-term vaginal delivery were selected and divided into 8 groups according to the number of previous curettage (0 ~ 7 times). The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage and mean amount of bleeding in each group were compared with that of curettage The number of times to carry out correlation analysis. Results: The correlation coefficient between the number of prenatal curettage and postpartum hemorrhage was 0.909, and the correlation coefficient with postpartum hemorrhage was 0.730, suggesting that there was a significant positive correlation between the number of curettage and the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage and bleeding (P <0.05). Conclusion: The number of prenatal curettage should be reduced as much as possible to avoid postpartum hemorrhage.
