Pediatric disc injury is rare. Of the 1300 meniscus injuries reported by Smillie, only 29 were discoid cartilage lesions. However, we treated 25 cases of semilunar cartilage injury in 15 cases of discoid cartilage injury, are reported as follows: 1 Clinical data 1.1 General Information From 1981 to 1991 were treated under the age of 14, 15 cases of discoid cartilage injury. Accounting for 60% (15/25) of half-cartilage injuries in the same period. All women. All were lateral, left knee in 5 cases, right knee in 9 cases. 1 case of knees. Treatment age from 8 to 14 years old, average 10.1 years old, onset time from 6 months to 1.5 years, an average of 9 months. 1.2 Clinical manifestations of 15 patients had varying degrees of pain; 3 cases of obvious history of trauma; 5 cases of playing soft leg phenomenon; 6 cases of significant swelling of the knee; 4 cases of knee extension limited 20 ° ~ 30 °; 9 There are cases of twist lock; 8 cases snapping; Mark’s sign positive in 8 cases. All patient x-rays showed no specific disease. Among them, knee arthroplasty was performed in 6 cases. X-ray showed that there was horizontal lamellar tear in 1 case of disc cartilage. In 2 cases, the medial thickness was thin and the central part was ruptured in 1 case. 1 case of anterior cartilage injury, 1 case of disc cartilage, such as jujube nucleus, the middle thick, thin inside and outside. 1 case no abnormalities. 1.3 Results 15 patients in addition to 1 case no injury, a total of 15 cases of subtotal surgery, intraoperative see infantile 4 cases; 4 cases of intermediate type; primitive type in 7 cases. 3 cases of lamellar horizontal tear, 3 cases of barrel-shaped laceration, 1 case of oblique injury, 1 case of discoid cartilage relaxation and discoid cartilage
