Objective: To investigate the expression of apoptosis-related genes in pancreatic cancer cells and their relationship with the expression of ER and PR. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of bcl2, p53 and cmyc genes in pancreatic and pancreatic cancer metastases. The results showed that bcl2 protein was significantly higher in the pancreatic cancer group than in the pancreatic cancer metastasis group; no metastatic, well-differentiated pancreatic cancer was significantly higher than that of metastatic and poorly differentiated pancreatic cancer. The p53 protein was significantly higher in the pancreatic cancer group than in the benign pancreatic tumor group. The pancreatic well-differentiated carcinoma was significantly lower than the pancreatic poorly differentiated carcinoma. The bcl 2 and p53 proteins were negatively correlated in the pancreatic cancer group. There was a positive correlation between bcl-2 protein and ER expression in pancreatic cancer. Conclusion: The expression of bcl2 and p53 protein can reflect the biological behavior of pancreatic cancer.
