随着众多学者对中国哲学研究现状不满足感的日益增长 ,试图改善它的期望也变得越来越强烈了。这也就为我们提出了一个在通常情况下往往不会去考虑的问题 ,即重新认识我们所从事的中国哲学研究这项工作“自身”的性质 ,反省和检讨我们对它所采取的各种研究方式及其有效性。我们之所以愿意参与到这项反思工作之中 ,是因为我们也感到困惑和不安 ,并渴望找到一种新的重大途径和方式。不管问题是以什么尖锐的形式提出 ,甚至是让中国哲学经受一次被审问的严峻考验 ,但我们确实需要触及问题的要害 ,并最终使中国哲学获得新生。正是基于这种意图和目的 ,在姜广辉等先生的筹划下 ,2 0 0 3年 11月 ,由中国社会科学院主办 ,清华大学思想文化研究所、西北大学思想文化研究所、湖南大学岳麓书院、江西上饶师范学院朱子学研究所等单位协办 ,在北京召开了“纪念侯外庐百年诞辰暨中国思想史学术研讨会” ,学者们围绕作为会议主题之一的中国哲学的困境和正当性展开了热烈的讨论 ,提出了许多积极的建设性意见和见解。这里发表的一组文章 ,就是其中的一部分 ,希望能引起大家进一步的关注 ,并参与到对这一问题的讨论中来。
With the growing dissatisfaction of many scholars with the status of Chinese philosophical research, the expectations of trying to improve it have also become stronger and stronger. This brings us to a question that we often will not consider under normal circumstances: to re-understand the nature of the “self” of the Chinese philosophical research we are engaged in, to reflect on and review the various Research methods and their effectiveness. The reason why we are willing to participate in this reflection work is because we are also confused and upset and are eager to find a new and important way and method. No matter how sharp the issue is, or even to allow Chinese philosophy to withstand the harsh test of interrogation, we really need to touch upon the crux of the problem and eventually rejuvenate Chinese philosophy. It is precisely for this purpose and purpose that under the planning of Mr. Jiang Guanghui et al. And organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in November 2003, the Institute of Ideology and Culture of Tsinghua University, the Institute of Ideology and Culture of Northwestern University, the Yuelu Academy of Hunan University, Jiangxi Shangrao Normal College Zhu Institute of Science and other units co-organized in Beijing held a “centenary Hou Wai Lu academic seminar on the history of Chinese thought,” scholars around the conference as one of the topics of the plight and legitimacy of Chinese philosophy launched a lively discussion , Put forward many positive and constructive suggestions and opinions. It is part of a series of articles published here, hoping to draw more attention and participate in discussions on this issue.
