In a recent study published in the international journal Oncotarget, researchers from Georgia State University and Stony Brook University discovered through research that a particular protein that plays an important role in the inflammatory process may be able to effectively inhibit Tumors and colonic ulcers, which are often found in colitis associated cancer (CAC), a colorectal cancer that is induced by chronic inflammation.
