目的 :明确血管内皮生长因子 ( VEGF)及其受体在鼻内翻性乳头状瘤 ( NIP)组织中的表达 ,探讨其在 NIP发病中的作用。方法 :采用免疫组化 SP法 ,对 1 1例 NIP标本及 6例慢性单纯性鼻炎患者的下鼻甲标本 ,检测 VEGF及其胎肝激酶受体 ( flk- 1 ) ,以图像分析仪半定量测定 VEGF和 flk- 1的表达强度。结果 :VEGF在 NIP的上皮细胞和血管内皮细胞的表达 ,均显著高于下鼻甲组织相应部位 (均 P <0 .0 1 )。flk- 1在 NIP血管内皮细胞的表达显著高于下鼻甲组织相应部位( P <0 .0 0 1 )。 flk- 1表达于 NIP上皮细胞而未见于下鼻甲上皮。结论 :VEGF参与了 NIP的病理过程 ,表现为部分 NIP组织富含血管 ,手术时易出血。VEGF的较高水平表达 ,可能在间质水肿的发生过程中亦发挥了重要作用。 NIP上皮细胞 VEGF的表达水平有可能作为衡量 NIP恶变的指标之一。
Objective: To clarify the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and its receptor in nasal inverted papilloma (NIP) tissues and to explore its role in the pathogenesis of NIP. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of VEGF and its fetal liver kinase receptor (flk-1) in 11 cases of NIP specimens and 6 cases of chronic simple rhinitis patients. Semi-quantitative analysis was performed with image analyzer The intensity of expression of VEGF and flk-1. Results: The expression of VEGF in NIP epithelial cells and vascular endothelial cells were significantly higher than the corresponding parts of the inferior turbinate tissue (P <0.01). The expression of flk-1 in NIP was significantly higher than that in inferior turbinate tissues (P <0.01). Flk-1 is expressed on NIP epithelial cells but not on the inferior turbinate epithelium. Conclusion: VEGF participates in the pathological process of NIP, which shows that some NIP tissues are rich in blood vessels and are prone to hemorrhage during operation. The higher expression of VEGF may play an important role in the process of interstitial edema. The expression of VEGF in NIP epithelial cells may be one of the indicators to evaluate the malignant transformation of NIP.
