Excavated at the east suburb of Luoyang,the Western Han tomb C8M574 of hollow brick consists of tomb passage and tomb chamber,both of which are rectangular.A side room is at the west wall of the passage next to the chamber. Found mostly in the side room and the chamber,its funeral objects include pottery vessels,pottery figurines and a bronze belt hook.The pottery ate decorated with red and white patterns or with red,white and purple patterns.The typological features show the transfering from the late Warring states period to the middle Western Han.According to that,the tomb should be dated the early Western Han.
