近代科学发展进程中发生的若干次世界科学活动中心的转移现象(“汤浅现象”)引起了许多学者的关注。本文对这一现象的动力机制进行了分析,提出了导致科学发展发生“突变”,进而产生新的科学中心的五种可能的机制,即文化震荡、社会变革、科技──经济互动、新学科的产生及科学家的流动。同时,利用上述结果分析了“近代科学技术为什么未产生于中国”这一热点问题,并对中国在21世纪成为世界科学活动中心的可能性进行了论述。
The phenomenon of the transfer of a number of centers of world science activity (the “shallow” phenomenon) that took place in the process of modern scientific development has drawn the attention of many scholars. This paper analyzes the motivation mechanism of this phenomenon and proposes five possible mechanisms leading to “mutation” in scientific development and then to new scientific centers: cultural shocks, social changes, science and technology ─ economic interaction and new disciplines The emergence and flow of scientists. At the same time, the author uses the above results to analyze the hot topic of “why modern science and technology were not born in China” and expounds the possibility of China becoming the center of world science in the 21st century.
