由于我段刚开通时电网不稳定,经常引起接触网失压的情况。一九八五年由于零压保护系统未能及时动作,共造成8台劈相机单相烧损。最典型的是一九八五年十月二十九日大同第二发电厂由于二号机组烧损,接触网电压突然下降到5000伏,我段在线路运行中的三台机车共四台劈相机在同一时间内单相烧损,另有两台机车司机发现及时未造成损失。由此可见,目前SS_1型机车所使用的零压保护系统已不能适应现场的需要,必须加以改进。一九八五年七月我们根据张友松同志在《电力机车技术》第一期发表的零压保护系统的改进方案进行了实验,现将实验的情况
