新的《公路工程技术标准》规定,三级及三级以上的公路都应设置回旋线型缓和曲线,还规定了缓和曲线的最小长度。在平面线形设计中,作为与直线、圆曲线并列的三大线形要素之一的回旋曲线,其长度常是大大超过技术标准规定,因而,在缓和曲线上的加桩较多,横断面测量的工作量也较大。为方便断面测量人员快速、准确测定回旋曲线上的中桩断面方向,(即与该桩位在回旋曲线上的切线相垂直的方向),兹介绍如下两种方法:
