由山东省建科院研制的新型改性菱镁蔬菜大棚架是以氯氧镁水泥作胶结料,以竹筋等天然植物纤维材料作增强材料,再配以该院研制的M系列改性剂,成功地解决了菱镁棚架在受力状态下能长期用于室外、高温、高湿及有水的环境中;通过提高胶结料韧性、能使棚架在不同的受力状态下产生弹性变形而不导致构件断裂;通过实施改性技术,解决了菱镁棚架的耐水问题、抗吸潮返卤问题,抗冻、抗碳化、耐干湿循环和耐土壤腐蚀等技术问题。
