毛泽东、邓小平作为中国共产党第一代、第二代领导集体的核心，在领导中国社会主义革命和建设过程中，都形成了自己的发展观。但是，由于历史条件和认识程度的不同，他们所阐述的发展观，在发展的过程、目标、主体、重点上都存在着差异。因此，分析比较毛泽东和邓小平的发展观，对于我们今天更好地学习和领会毛泽东思想和邓小平理论，实现跨越式的发展具有重要的现实意义。
Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, as the core of the first generation and the second generation of collective leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, formed their own concept of development in leading the Chinese socialist revolution and construction. However, due to differences in historical conditions and levels of understanding, the development concept that they have elaborated has differences in the process, goal, subject and emphasis of development. Therefore, analyzing and comparing Mao Zedong’s and Deng Xiaoping’s views on development is of great realistic significance for us to better study and understand Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory today and achieve a leapfrog development.
