Because the virus’s life activity is completely dependent on the presence of host cells, the infection, proliferation, and harm to the body of the virus first occur at the cellular level. Therefore, the relationship between viruses and cells has become an important aspect that people have long explored. Chromosome is an important material basis for cell reproduction, differentiation and mutation, and maintaining its genetic stability. So in the past two decades, many virologists and cytogeneticists have given extensive attention to chromosomal aberrations caused by viral infections.
