在成批生产条件下,用B3、BOK—60、BOK—63型矿物陶瓷刀具加工,很难得到六级加工精度,这是因为陶瓷刀的几何参数特殊(有5°—7°负前角和加强倒棱)、被加工材料的机械性能不均匀(特别是经过高频处理后)以及机床—夹具—工具—零件系统刚性不足的缘故。因此陶瓷刀的广泛使用受到限制。适应控制装置不但能控制切削过程,还能扩大这种刀具的使用范围。图1所示的适应控制装置可用来提高车床加工零件的精度,其工作方式如下:
