美国戏剧家尤金·奥尼尔用严肃戏剧对人类命运和人的精神世界给予极大的关怀。本文选择《上帝的儿女都有翅膀》、《马可百万》和《送冰的人来了》等奥尼尔3个不同时期的剧本进行文本分析,通过文本细读发现奥尼尔的戏剧叙事具有解构主义的特色,他尝试通过解构方式消解种族、西方中心和理性与非理性等诸多社会矛盾,以期找到减除现代工业文明时期人类面临的精神痛苦的良药。奥尼尔剧作的后现代解构主义伦理叙事风格深受他个人身份认同的缺失、东方道家哲学和心理分析理论的影响。本文通过对奥尼尔的后现代解构倾向的考究,对国内奥尼尔研究提供了新的思路和方法,同时,本项研究也为我们认识和解决中国当今社会矛盾提供了借鉴。
Eugene O’Neill, the American dramatist, used serious drama to give great care to the fate of mankind and the spiritual world of man. This article selects O’Neill’s script from three different periods such as “God’s children have wings”, “Mark’s Million” and “Delivering the Ice to People”, and finds out through the text that O’Neill’s dramatic narrative has deconstructionism He attempts to resolve many social contradictions such as race, western center and rationality and irrationality by means of deconstruction in order to find a good medicine that can reduce the mental suffering faced by mankind in the period of modern industrial civilization. O’Neill’s postmodern deconstruction ethical narrative style is deeply influenced by his lack of personal identity, Oriental Taoist philosophy and psychoanalytic theory. Through the study of O’Neill’s postmodern deconstruction tendency, this article provides new ideas and methods for the domestic O’Neill study. At the same time, this study also provides reference for our understanding and solution to the current social conflicts in China.
