The article analyzes the relationship between bird image and the development of storyline and hero’s psychology and fate by analyzing the brief introduction of “Jane Eyre” episode and scene change. Symbol in the novel is an important writing technique. The image of birds is closely related to the hero ’s fate, and is closely linked with the contents of the novel. It becomes the clue and link of plot development, which indicates the fate of the protagonist and paves the way for the development of the novel.
