A small number of epilepsy patients and individual healthy people can induce seizures through physiological or physical stimuli such as vision, hearing and touch. They are collectively referred to as reflex epilepsy or induced epilepsy clinically and have been repeatedly reported in the literature. However, no reports of chess or card game-induced epilepsy have been reported in the world medical literature. In 1957, author Chen noticed a reflex epilepsy related to chess. In 1962, author Qin also found a reflex epilepsy related to card games. It is a merger of four cases of such patients discovered in six years (August 1957 to March 1963) to make a report and to explore its mechanism of induction.
