费孝通同志用英文写的《江村经济》一书,在英国出版了将近半个世纪,今天译成中文在国内和读者见面了。费老本人见到这本书能在国内译成中文出版,也颇有感慨,并为此作诗抒怀:“愧赧对旧作,无心计短长;路遥试马力,坎坷出文章;毁誉在人口,浮沉志仍扬;涓涓乡土木,汇成大海洋;五十年华逝,老来羡夕阳;阖卷寻旧梦,江村蚕事忙。”
The book entitled “The Economy of the Village of Rivers” written by Comrade Fei Xiaotong in English has been published in the UK for nearly half a century. Today, the book translated into Chinese meets the readers in China.
